This evolved brand identity for Titchmarsh & Goodwin retains the heritage and craftsmanship from days gone by while modernising and refining the colour palette, typography and crest. The Logotype was originally hand-drawn for a carving and photographed using a rostrum camera over 100 years ago. We were so excited to discover they still had this on file. We’ve worked on top of this to create a very special identity.
Thank you @metalcardcompany for allowing us to share these photographs of the furniture badges we designed. Manufactured with incredible attention to detail and precision.
We were commissioned by Titchmarsh & Goodwin to capture their highly skilled team of cabinet-makers, woodturners, carvers, gilders and French polishers at work in their workshops in Ipswich, Suffolk. For more than 90 years, they have been designing and handcrafting beautiful wooden furniture. We’re looking to working with Tichmarsh & Goodwin in the future.
