Ipswich BID Manifesto
Graphic design isn’t just about how something looks, it’s also about how it feels, what it says and how it communicates. It’s a direct reflection of who you are and what you stand for.
We’re very pleased Lee Walker, Steve Flory and Ipswich Central trusted us with designing their Five-Year Business Plan as they approach the BID ballot.
We often talk about the value of a manifesto’s to instil clarity. In this case, the plain-speaking and honest copy tone were presented as short sentences and statements to distil a lot of information into a concise declaration of action and intent.
We treated the BID boundary as a graphic system, building a map from street names to form a dust jacket. Uncoated stock, a bright limited-colour palette (you won’t miss it!), monotone and duotone photography, bold typography, maps and direct messaging work together to convey their optimistic ambition.
A digital version can be viewed on the Ipswich Central website: https://ipswichcentral.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Manifesto-and-Business-Plan-2026.pdf
We’d like to thank Chris Cook and Healey’s Print Group for a beautiful print job.
