Books have the power to shift and transform depend Books have the power to shift and transform depending on the reader’s perspective, much like a kaleidoscope. This concept became the idea behind the identity for the @ipswichbookfestival . We designed a bold, vibrant identity that we hope captures the magic of storytelling, celebrating the ever-changing worlds books create. As a local Ipswich agency, this project has been a true labour of love, and we’re thrilled to be partnering with our friends at @HudsonGroup to bring it to life. Key Design Elements: - A kaleidoscope-inspired brand mark and pattern system built from open book shapes. - Custom icons representing Ipswich’s landmarks and environment. - An autumnal colour palette inspired by the beautiful Liquidambar tree in Christchurch park (not much to look at now, but in Autumn it’s on fire!) - A vibrant, animated visual system that adapts across festival materials.
