Ipswich is our home, and we’re passionate about supporting its creative and cultural scene. That’s why we’re pleased to announce that we’re the official creative partner for the Ipswich Book Festival. We want to thank the team at Emma Lightfoot, Cathy Frost, Andrew Marsh (Dial Lane Books) and Tony Felgate for trusting us with their vision.

Books are powerful. They shift and change depending on the reader’s perspective, much like a kaleidoscope. Inspired by this idea, we developed the festival’s identity around the concept of ever-changing perspectives. The identity draws directly from the heart of Ipswich, we captured details from buildings and landmarks, transforming them into icons that represent six key writing genres. Each genre is symbolised by its distinct shape, which combines to create vibrant kaleidoscope imagery.

As a local agency, this has been a true passion project for us, and we’re very pleased to be partnering with our great friends Steve Flory, Tom Wright, Hudson Group and Joanna Day at Hudson Group to bring this identity to life.
