Sip’Swich Bar Trials 2026
Pubs across the UK are under pressure. Sip’Swich is a brilliant way to show up and support them.
We’ve lived in Ipswich for 14 years and there are pubs on these trails we’ve never even been in. Creatures of habit. That’s the point. Start with what you love… discover more. Ipswich has a cracking pub and bar scene, most of us just haven’t seen enough of it.
We’ve loved working on Sip’Swich 2026 (26 March–30 April), our first project with All About Ipswich and Ipswich Central (BID), a business-led partnership funded by local businesses for the benefit of the town.
Our role has been to work on the brand and experience, design the trails and push for a digital-first approach to keep things simple and more sustainable. Users scan QR codes at venues to collect stamps, with no app download required. There’s a light print version too, plus bar tab prizes and bigger end rewards, plenty of reasons to explore and for venues to get behind it.
Sip’Swich also links up with Brighten The Corners All Dayer, a free grassroots music festival on Saturday 25 April, taking over seven Ipswich venues (five of which are on the Sip’Swich trails), a brilliant way to round things off.
