Groundwork East
CAMPAIGN | DESIGN | PHOTOGRAPHY | TOOLKIT DEVELOPMENT
We partnered with Groundwork East to deliver a campaign celebrating Suffolk’s pioneering tourism businesses, reducing their carbon footprints and to inspire others to follow their lead with support from carboncharter.org.
We designed a bright, optimistic visual identity for the campaign, using vibrant colours, emotive photography, and impactful infographics to bring these stories to life. Supporting materials included three interactive PDF toolkits tailored to different tourism sectors, a social media content pack, and a series of posters and ads.
The campaign spotlights four local trailblazers:
- The Brook Inn, Washbrook: Installed solar panels and upgraded kitchen equipment, saving £2,765 in electricity and generating 7,900 kWh of clean energy in one year.
- Jet Adventures, Lowestoft: Switched to a greener jet-drive boat and electric van, cutting fuel and maintenance costs while appealing to eco-conscious visitors.
- Folk East Festival: Banned disposables and powered areas with solar, reducing energy use and clean-up costs, while improving the festival experience.
- New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich: Embraced smart lighting upgrades and sustainable practices to reduce emissions.
It’s been an inspiring project to support celebrating real change, free resources, and the power of local action in tackling climate impact.
