Titchmarsh & Goodwin

Titchmarsh & Goodwin, a renowned British furniture maker established in 1920, approached us to evolve their brand identity while preserving the heritage and craftsmanship that define their name.

With a legacy rooted in traditional cabinet-making from their Ipswich workshop, the brand has long been associated with excellence, attention to detail and timeless design. The project began with a deep dive into their history, where we uncovered the original hand-drawn logotype once used for carving. This became the basis of a refreshed identity that bridges the past and present.

We refined the crest, typography and colour palette to bring clarity and elegance to the brand, ensuring it resonated with today’s discerning customers while staying true to its roots.

Alongside the identity work, we photographed the skilled artisans at work, cabinet-makers, woodturners, carvers, gilders, and French polishers, capturing the meticulous process and dedication behind every piece. These images became a vital part of the brand’s storytelling, conveying the quiet mastery that defines Titchmarsh & Goodwin.

The result is a revitalised identity that honours their craftsmanship and reinforces their reputation for quality. As they look to the future, our ongoing partnership continues to support the brand’s evolution while celebrating its rich legacy.
